Josie. 17. First year college student. Hails from the mighty forest that is Worcester, UK. A Comedy Luster, Floral Buddy, Mitch's Bitch, etc. Is fluent in banal bollocks. I like British comedians and their faces. I like British panel shows and their faces. Things make me laugh. I quote things like there's no tomorrow, like comedians and Tobuscus. Being a stand-up comedian looks like fun, so I shall try it one day. I just need to be funny first. Gay windmill(s) twirling about on stage like a complete prat.

Yes… That’s me.

My name is Josie. I absolutely love stand-up comedy with a passion. I also like making lists, so I’m going to make lists about my personality.

Things I like:

  • Stand-up Comedy.
  • British Comedy.
  • Panel Shows (Examples will be seen on my blog)
  • The Mighty Boosh. I’ve got all three series so far on DVD, and their Future Sailors tour.
  • Red Dwarf. I spent the majority of my childhood watching Red Dwarf and I just love it!
  • Tobuscus/Toby Turner.
  • Cats.
  • Indie music/Rock/Alt. Rock/Anything similar.
  • The Young Knives. They’re not that well-known, but their songs are so catchy and their lyrics are very intriguing. I suggest that you should look them up.
  • Morrissey/The Smiths.
  • Singing to myself when I’m alone.
  • Whistling very loudly. (I am a master at whistling the intro to “Take On Me”)
  • My hometown on a sunny day. Seriously, Worcester in the sun is just beautiful.

Things I’m not a fan of:

  • People that hate stand-up comedy. Well, I haven’t really met anyone that hates it so far, but when people hate my favourite comedians, I am very tempted to give them a good twattin’
  • Spelling & grammatical errors in an non-ironical sense. If non-ironical is even a word. I take pride in my neologisms.
  • British people using American-English words. Like “Mom”, “Trunk”, “Cell-phone”, etc.
  • People that say the word “Retard” in a negative sense.
  • Whatever else there is to hate/dislike out there.

Songs I suggest that you should listen to if you haven’t heard of them before:

  • Heaven Knows I’m Miserable Now- The Smiths.
  • Everyday Is Like Sunday- Morrissey.
  • Ouija Board, Ouija Board- Morrissey.
  • Up All Night- Young Knives.
  • Here Comes the Rumour Mill- Young Knives.
  • Vision In Rags- Young Knives
  • Don’t Look Back Into the Sun- The Libertines.
  • What Katie Did- The Libertines.
  • M79- Vampire Weekend (The intro is just beautiful).
  • Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa- Vampire Weekend.

If I make a spelling/grammatical error, please tell me. I hate those moments when I’m not sure on whether what I’ve said is grammatically correct or not :L

One of my favourite quotes- “If I seem a little strange, well, that’s because I am”- Unlovable, The Smiths.

That’s about it! Hope you even slightly enjoyed reading this.
